FEEL SAFE WITH OUR COMMUNITY

Maya's Organisation provides compassionate and religious support to those in need. We believe that no one should endure suffering in silence, and we are committed to giving a voice to victims. Regardless of the type of abuse faced, our team, including counsellors, psychologists, and spiritual advisors, is here to help. We are working to create a safe sanctuary in Davao City, Philippines, where survivors of emotional, sexual, or physical abuse can find security and healing. Contact us for more information about our victim support groups and services.

SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND RECOGNITION ARE KEY

Maya's Organisation Philippines was founded to combat the long standing issues of sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Our mission is to support survivors, educate communities, and raise awareness about these critical issues. We strive to empower individuals to recognise signs of abuse and report them to the appropriate authorities by educating, supporting and recognising the trauma of the abused. By doing so, we aim to prevent further harm and protect vulnerable children across the Philippines, encouraging victims to seek help and support on their path to recovery.

ASKING FOR HELP IS NOT WEAKNESS

Our victim support programme is designed to provide comprehensive assistance to survivors of abuse. We recognise that healing takes many forms, and our approach reflects that understanding. Our victim support group is a safe space for individuals affected by rape, sexual, physical, or emotional abuse. Any child needing help can reach out to Maya's Organisation Philippines.

MY MOP EXPERIENCE IN 3 YEARS

I started my consultancy work with Maya Organisation Philippines, Inc. (MOP) in April 2018 for their organisational development. I facilitated the MOP visioning, programme development and planning through workshops with the members of the Board, Officers and some members. With the result of our short research and study, we decided to focus on MOP’s mission in the Third District of Davao City, Philippines. Initially, the four (4) programmes will be the vehicles by which they will be able to reach their mission and eventually attain their vision in the future. With this current situation, children are in lockdown in their homes, and the problem of child sexual abuse has also escalated.
